Fight fans in Bangor, ME got a show at UFC Fight Night 47 this past Saturday, August, 16. Ryan Bader defeated Ovince St. Preux (“OSP”) in an unanimous decision, showing him that all the raw talent in the world could not defeat a tried and true UFC veteran. But what we noticed was Ryan Bader’s beautifully groomed beard earning him the Bluebeards Beard Care Beard of the Night for UFC Fight Night 47.
“Beard grooming is a necessary part of facial hair and skin maintenance, and beard care products are an important part of the male grooming process,” said Bluebeards founder Paul Kaniewski. “Whether you’re a UFC fighter, an athlete or just a normal guy such as myself, growing and dealing with a beard doesn’t have to be a chore anymore. Ryan made that clear with his beautiful facial hair and his great victory over Ovince.”
The biggest winner of the night were the fans in attendance. Watching the fight live on Fox Sports 1, the crowd pops were audible in the small Bangor arena when something exciting happened. And there were plenty of things to cheer about. Ross Pearson and Tim Boetsch delivered knockouts that the rest of the UFC definitely noticed. Look for them to get higher caliber tests in their upcoming fights.
