Beards and romance, you know you can just picture a bed in a sweaty room with a cool 70’s tune playing in the background and bass thumping to match the natural “rhythms” of love. Heck even the guy the Holiday was named after was rocking some serious Facial Hair
No it’s not wrestler Greg “The Hammer Valentine”, its St. Valentine!
We at Bluebeards wanted to mark the occasion of Valentine’s Day with a sale on our Award Winning Beard Trios and giving a show out to a trio of Bearded Romantics
First let’s take a look at one of the men responsible for some of the most romantic stories ever told, William Shakespeare.
While Billy has one heck of beard, it was his prose that got him remembered. While many of his works, both tragedies and comedies are littered with romance, Romeo and Juliet is the one that comes to mind above them all. Speaking of death ,that brings us to our next Bearded Lover.
What is a bigger proclamation of love than to build your beloved one of the Wonders of The World? Well that is exactly what Shah Jahan did. Unfortunately, the lucky lady, his wife Mumtaz Mahal was dead when he decided to build what ended up being a truly amazing testament to love. The Tah Mahal, Mumtaz Mahal’s tomb was commissioned after her death due to complications with childbirth. Shah Jahan went on to marry a few more times, but his love for his first wife endured and he is now entombed with her at the Taj.
Well before we “get on” out of here, let’s discuss a man who helped many a couple “get it on”.
